This has happened twice in my life. First one was a weird itching tingling sensation all over my body. Several months later I had the most severe night sweats 4 days in a row, where I was waking up in the middle of the night totally soaked, and totally soaking the sheets. I did some research and found both times that these symptoms can be related to anxiety, which I have experienced. However, at both times, I was not on a basic multivitamin.
During the itching, I tried a B complex, and the itching went away in a couple days. During the night sweats, I tried a multivitamin/multimineral, and the sweats went away in one day.
My point: Nutrient deficiencies are sometimes a cause for symptoms.
If you have a crazy symptom, it is important for me to say that it is wise to seek medical attention, but also consider increasing your nutrient intake via food and supplementation. Additionally, consider seeking a Naturopathic or other holistic doctor. Why? Because there may be a more chronic underlying reason that you are not getting enough nutrients, such as impaired digestion. Common digestive symptoms do not have to be present for you to have impaired digestion. Symptoms such as anxiety, depression, brain fog, joint pain, fatigue, autoimmune disorders, hormone imbalances, migraines or other types of chronic headaches, weight gain, and chronic inflammation, to name a few, can be stemming from impaired digestion.
